I love love love bodypainting, and this guy takes it to a whole new level. His bodypainting work is so detailed, so intricate, even, geometric and beautiful, that you can’t help but just stop and stare at the patterns he’s created on his models. Michael Rosner attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, then relocated to Sacramento, CA where he worked as a painter. He began working on his body art in 2006 and appeared at the North America Body Painting Championships this year.

I find his work to be almost unreal in its look. On first glance I assumed his models were either 3D rendered or that their makeup was photomanipulated onto their skin. His work is inspiring.

Representative works:

"Geisha Mineko Iwasaki"

"Metropolis"

"Archduchess Marie Antoinette"
